260 SCTP athletes from all over DFWs 3 divisions competed in the DFW Championships this weekend. Aledo Claybusters had a Great showing with 15 team members shooting. The format was Sporting Clays 100 targets, Trap 50 targets and Skeet 50 Targets. Awards were for all athletes combined for each discipline and then HOA for each division and Team scores of top 5 scores in each event. We posted some fantastic scores and brought home the medals! Co-Captain Carter Bryan posted our best Trap score with a 43/50. Craig Mason posted a 47/50 in Skeet including a 25 straight. Craig was also in a 4 way tie for 7th place of the 260 competitors in Sporting Clays with a 93 /100. That earned Craig a 4 way tie for 9th overall in the Senior Varsity division with a score of 182, only 9 clays out of 1st place. Medal winners Grayson Bassham took home FIRST PLACE with a 156, an amazing finish. Jaxon Robinson was on the podium in THIRD PLACE with his 148! Way to dominate the Intermediate Entry category ALEDO!

The TEAM came in 7th out of 16 teams. We can ramp that up at STATES!

And the Big Winner of the Day was Mr. Mark Lewis who won the 100 Square Raffle for one of the two MAJOR AWARDS (no not a leg lamp this time) a solid shooting iron! Congratulations Mr. Lewis!!!!!!!
